Falling behind on releases
Aras upgrades its subscribers. Old releases, lapsed subscriptions and heavy custom code fall outside that, and there the upgrade is decided by what was built on the platform.

Questions Aras Customers Ask Us.
We have been an Aras partner since 2010 and work in all three of Aras’s partner roles: we resell Aras Innovator, implement it and build products on it. In 2025 Aras named us one of its four Powered by Aras partners.
Both. On SaaS, Aras hosts the platform and runs the upgrades; we look after what you have built on it (methods, workflows, forms, integrations) and test it against each release before your users see it. On-premises, we run the upgrades and environments too.
Configuration usually does. Custom code is where upgrades get expensive. We go through every customisation, decide whether to retire, reconfigure, rebuild or keep it, and run the regression tests before cutover, not after.
If you are on Release 21 or earlier, yes. Chrome stops running XSLT on 17 November 2026. Aras has hotfixes for Releases 22 to 38; older releases are out of support and need an upgrade. An enterprise browser policy keeps XSLT working until August 2027, which buys time but does not fix it.
Yes. We start by assessing what was built, then take over in four steps: access and planning, knowledge transfer, shadow support, and steady state.
